June

7-11 June: UW-EAU CLAIRE Beginner Wrestling Camp. 

Grades 5 through 10 (2021-2022 School Year). 4:00pm to 6:00pm. "We'd like to offer a camp that caters to those kids and parents that are just getting started in the great sport of wrestling. This camp will be a great "how to" camp to teach basic skills, scoring and rules of the sport. For parents in the Chippewa Valley area that don't have a lot of wrestling background we welcome you to stay and watch/learn for yourself. 12-16 June: Dennis Hall Wrestling Camp at the Mauston Talon Center, Mauston, WI.

Grades 7 through 12. Intensive Camp. "Areas of Emphasis: Core strength training, center of gravity, leverage, body lock, take downs and various finishes, set ups from all positions and transitional wrestling strategies."  All meals included, bring a sleeping bag and or air mattress. $375. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION.

27-30 June: UW-EAU CLAIRE Blugold Premier Camp.

Grades 8 through 12 (2021-2022 School Year). Sunday through Tuesday 9:00am to 9:00pm and Wednesday 9:00am to 5:00pm.  More intensive training. Limited to the first 40 wrestlers that register. "Focus is on skills and learning how to compete. Learn how to give your best effort in everything you do. Several different types of competitions throughout the camp. One college wrestler per group of four campers." $275 for a commuter. Lunch and Dinner included. Except Wednesday lunch. $325 for wrestlers staying over night. Meals and lodging Included. 28-30 June: UW-EAU CLAIRE Blugold Youth Wrestling Camp.

Grades K though 8th grade (2021-2022 School Year). 8:30am to 3:30pm each day. "Designed for young wrestlers just starting to develop their enjoyment and knowledge of the sport. 29-30 June: WHITEHALL Wrestling Clinic. Justin Peterson of Peterson Wrestling and four time WIAA State Champ Jeremy Schoenherr will lead the clinic.

Various dates in June: Askren Wrestling Academy, at Hartland and Green Bay facilities.

Different camps will focus on specific techniques such as top moves, bottom moves, "funk" wrestling, and camps focused on youth wrestlers. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS AND REGISTRATION.

13-15 July: Wheaton College Wrestling Camp, Wheaton, Illinois. Jim Gruenwald, lead Clinician. 

Two sessions. Session 1: "The primary goal of this camp is to introduce wrestling to new wrestlers and to build the basic fundamental skills of beginning and experienced wrestlers.  The session will include games, gymnastics, tumbling, balance, and basics of wrestling with a little bit of live wrestling.  Any wrestler, from beginner to serious high school wrestler would benefit from improving fundamentals and learning to control their body." Session 2: "This camp is designed for the serious wrestler.  The training session will follow the format of a college wrestling program and include a warm up, hand fighting, situational wrestling, live wrestling, and a cool down.  Age is not a limit but be prepared to work hard." $100 per session or $175 for both sessions. 13-15 July: Totino-Grace High School. Southwest "Schalles" Wrestling Camp. Fridley, MN. Wade Schalles, Lead Clinician.

6-7 August: UW-EAU CLAIRE Blugold Prospect Camp.

Grades 10 through 12th (2021-2022 School Year). 12:00pm 6 August to 3:00pm 7 August. This is a stay overnight camp. "This will be a residential one night camp for wrestlers going into Grades 10-11-12. The camp will include the chance to meet current Blugold wrestling staff and wrestlers.
