Each year, English 10 and a few other classes participate in the Great World Texts program through UW-Madison. Today, our students got up early to travel to campus and present their projects on the book Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982, alongside students from around the state. One of our Whitehall projects was even selected to present at the plenary session! 🎉 They also had the incredible opportunity to hear from the author, Cho Nam-Joo, and learn about her journey to becoming an author and the inspiration behind the novel. Our students represented Whitehall with pride and are already excited about the possibility of participating again next year! 📚✨

HVAC Career Exploration was presented today to the COOP "Construction Trades" class, which includes 14 students from Arcadia, Whitehall, Independence, and Blair-Taylor. Sampson Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. and Auer Steel & Heating Supply Company joined to give demonstrations on what a career in HVAC entails. It was a valuable opportunity for students to explore this field, learn about the skills required, and discover potential career paths in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
