Every year, Scheels employees have the opportunity to make a donation on the company’s behalf to an organization in the community. This year, Ryan Mickelson chose the Whitehall School District’s Emerging Technology Center, and we’re so grateful for his generosity.

Ryan shared that he’s seen firsthand the impact of this work through his son Atlas’s experiences, and we couldn’t be prouder of the opportunities our students are exploring in robotics, 3D printing, coding, and more.

Donations like this help us continue to provide hands-on, future-ready learning experiences for our students. Thank you🧡🖤

Mr. Youngbauer’s 8th Hour Future Skills class partnered with the ADRC of Trempealeau County for a multi-generational event following Café 60 at Sweet Temptations today!
Our 8th graders had the opportunity to showcase the communication and empathy skills they’ve been practicing in class while enjoying meaningful conversations with the adult participants.
Prior to the event, students prepared pumpkin protein balls to share, adding a special touch to the visit.
It was a truly outstanding experience for everyone involved!

Future Learning Friday 🌟
This week, Hazel turned her ideas into wearable art by designing her very own earrings! 👏✨
She sketched out her shapes, added her own creative touches, and prepared her design for our laser cutter. With a little imagination (and a lot of Norse creativity 🧡🖤), Hazel’s vision became something real! Custom earrings ready to shine.
We love seeing our students bring their ideas to life in such unique ways!

Day 1: Spotlight on the Future of Learning ✨
Superintendent Mike Beighley is kicking off our Tomorrow’s Learners, Today feature! 🚀
Mr. Beighley shares why future-ready education matters for every Norse student:
"Future-ready education matters for every Norse student because the world they are stepping into will look very different from the one we know today. Our responsibility is not just to prepare students for the next test or the next grade, but to help them build the skills, confidence, and adaptability they’ll need for college, careers, and life in an increasingly global and competitive environment.
Every Norse student deserves the opportunity to explore their passions, engage with emerging technologies, and learn in ways that spark creativity and problem-solving. By making future-ready learning a priority, we ensure that our students are prepared not only to keep up with a changing world, but to lead in it."
