As our students settle into another school year, we want Whitehall families to know that supporting student well-being is an important part of what we do every day.
Over the next few days, we’ll be highlighting some of the people, programs, partnerships, and resources available to support our students and families.
From familiar faces right here at school to additional counseling services and 24/7 support, there are many ways students can find help when they need it.
Because at Whitehall, supporting the whole student matters.🧡

Whitehall Regional Emerging Technology Lab Featured by Lab Midwest
The Whitehall Regional Emerging Technology Lab was recently featured by Lab Midwest for its student-driven, career-focused approach to learning.
The feature highlights how the lab is helping students explore individualized learning opportunities, hands-on experiences, dual credit options, and industry-recognized credentials connected to their goals and future plans.
The lab continues to get noticed for the way it is changing what learning can look like for students. With flexible spaces, industry-connected technology, and real-world learning experiences, students are able to explore pathways that connect to their interests and future opportunities.
We are proud to see Whitehall’s work recognized and grateful for the students, staff, and partners who continue to help bring these opportunities to life. 🧡🖤

We can’t wait to see what they dream up next. ⚙️🖨️
Whitehall defended the traveling trophy by winning the bluegill and bass categories, while Independence took the crappie category.
A big thank you to the Whitehall-Pigeon Rod & Gun Club for allowing the teams to host this contest! It was a great day on the water, and some students even caught their very first fish ever!👏🐟

Future learning is hands-on, real-world, and connected to what’s next. This week, Mrs. Goplin's Technology in Ag students are building their own FarmBot right in the ag greenhouse behind the school!
This project brings together agriculture, engineering, coding, and problem-solving as students design, assemble, and program a robotic system that can plant, water, and care for crops with precision. It’s a powerful example of how modern technology is shaping the future of agriculture.
We’ll be following along and sharing the process as students learn by doing and bring this project to life.

Students practiced physical exams, socialization, and learned the responsibilities that come with caring for a litter. Huge thank you to Denice Larson for bringing the golden retriever puppies and all the snuggles 🐾
FFA Chicken Q

Hard to believe with the sun shining and beautiful weather this afternoon that our first official winter weather day was just three days ago! ☀️

After spreading some mischief at the elementary sing-along, he couldn’t resist snagging a few of our high school students on their way out the door for break! 🎄🧡🖤

Lots of laughs, big smiles, and plenty of holiday cheer as our students sang their hearts out. Even the Grinch couldn’t resist the festive fun! 🎄🧡🖤

Spreading holiday cheer throughout our community is something we look forward to every year, and this year our Emerging Tech Lab made it extra special by creating wooden Christmas trees and personalized ornaments.
Thank you to our amazing community for all the support and help throughout the year, we truly couldn’t do what we do without you! 🧡🖤

This donation was given to the Trempealeau County Health Care Center to help their residents celebrate the holidays. 🎄❤️
Thank you to everyone who helped make this fundraiser such a success! We are grateful for your generosity and community spirit.
Our 7th and 8th grade math students wrapped up last week with some amazing accomplishments during our in-class competition! Students worked hard to complete as many math topics as they could, and their efforts truly paid off!
🧡 7th Grade Winning Class Total: 264 topics
🖤 8th Grade Winning Class Total: 144 topics
These winning classes earned a special treat from Mrs. Gullicksrud to celebrate their dedication, teamwork, and hustle. We’re so proud of their focus and enthusiasm!!
Way to go, students! 🧡🦃🖤 Keep up the great work!

Huge thank-you to the Centerville Curling Club for hosting our Norse and giving them such a unique experience! ❄️💪

Aubrey Caspersen and Sydney Sura are embracing future-ready learning through Advanced Drawing & Painting, a course designed by Mrs. Irvine that blends independence, creativity, and rigorous artistic practice.
This self-guided class challenges students with higher-level concepts and techniques while giving them the flexibility to learn on their own schedule. Every student builds a digital portfolio filled with progress photos, self-assessments, and reflective artist statements, mirroring the kind of authentic documentation expected in college-level art programs.
