Thirty students from Blair-Taylor, Whitehall, and Arcadia toured Nelson Global in Arcadia, gaining first-hand insight into advanced manufacturing.
During the visit, students observed processes related to thermal science, fluid mechanics, and advanced structural systems, as well as acoustics and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). They also discussed safety awareness and employability skills, connecting classroom learning to real-world industry applications.
This week, Hazel turned her ideas into wearable art by designing her very own earrings! 👏✨
She sketched out her shapes, added her own creative touches, and prepared her design for our laser cutter. With a little imagination (and a lot of Norse creativity 🧡🖤), Hazel’s vision became something real! Custom earrings ready to shine.
We love seeing our students bring their ideas to life in such unique ways!

Today marks the very first WRETL Wednesday (Whitehall Regional Emerging Technology Lab) in our Future-Ready Learning series, a 🎥✨ spotlight 2-for-1!
Our 6th grade students in Mrs. Ausdereau’s class are bringing creativity to life by designing their own keychains in the Tinkercad program. 🖥️🔑 It’s hands-on, it’s future-focused, and it’s just the beginning of what the WRETL makes possible for Norse students.

In FCS class, it’s good any time of the day! Our students got creative in the kitchen and proved that breakfast pizza is always a win. 👩🍳👏🍕✨

Superintendent Mike Beighley is kicking off our Tomorrow’s Learners, Today feature! 🚀
Mr. Beighley shares why future-ready education matters for every Norse student:
"Future-ready education matters for every Norse student because the world they are stepping into will look very different from the one we know today. Our responsibility is not just to prepare students for the next test or the next grade, but to help them build the skills, confidence, and adaptability they’ll need for college, careers, and life in an increasingly global and competitive environment.
Every Norse student deserves the opportunity to explore their passions, engage with emerging technologies, and learn in ways that spark creativity and problem-solving. By making future-ready learning a priority, we ensure that our students are prepared not only to keep up with a changing world, but to lead in it."
— Mike Beighley, Superintendent

Follow along all week as we share how Whitehall is preparing “Tomorrow’s Learners, Today.” 🚀

The Whitehall FFA is celebrating National Ag Safety Week by recognizing local farmers who are hard at work starting the harvest season. These dedicated men and women provide our growing population with the necessities of life, from food on the table to clothes on our backs. Did you know that less than 2% of the U.S. population feeds the other 98%?
FFA members nominated farmers within our district, and today those farmers were surprised with a care package of safety supplies, delivered by FFA members. To keep their energy and spirits up, each farmer also received a nutritious meal, generously provided in partnership with Sweet Temptations.
As harvest season begins, we encourage all community members to stay alert and safe when driving near agricultural equipment on the roads. Our farmers have an important job to do, let’s help keep them safe while they do it!

Proud to serve our students and community!

We’re excited to welcome Mr. McNamer to the Norse family!

“I chose Whitehall because it’s home. As a former student, it’s meaningful to return and be part of the school and community that helped shape me. I’ve always appreciated the close-knit atmosphere and strong relationships that make Whitehall special. I’m excited to begin my teaching career in a place that means so much to me, surrounded by people who have always supported me.”
